A little about me...
Hey! I'm Gina and the heart behind Willow & Wonder.
I'm based on the Wirral, mum to Rae, wife to Chris, and usually being followed around by Toto the cat and Luffy the dog.
Before photography, I studied architecture at university. That’s where my love for light, detail and the little in between moments first began - I just didn’t know it would lead me here!
I love baking… or maybe more honestly, I love eating cake. I’m definitely the kind of person who plans the day around dessert.
Crisp winter mornings and long walks are my favourite, especially when they end at a cosy cafe.
I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by my favourite people, with a perfectly brewed green tea and... you guessed it... something sweet in hand!

WHERE LOVE GREW
INTO SOMETHING MORE...
I’ve always loved photography, but it wasn’t until I became a mum that everything changed. When my daughter Rae was born, I found myself wanting to hold onto everything; the quiet moments, the tiny details and the everyday magic that so easily slips by.
Watching her grow has shown me just how quickly time passes by. The days can feel long, but the weeks pass in a blur and before you know it, those tiny hands and feet are no longer tiny, but running through your home, creating the most beautiful kind of chaos!
It’s in those moments that you realise how much you want to remember them all from the way they fit so perfectly into your arms, their little expressions and the feeling of this chapter of life as it is right now.
Photographing Rae became my way of pausing time, preserving those fleeting moments so I could return to them, years from now, and remember exactly how it felt.

"it all started with rae;
so one day,
she can look back on these photographs,
and see just how deeply she is loved."
